We don’t talk about it much because it’s easier to ignore this critical social crisis than it is to deal with it. The thing is, the problem isn’t an ‘it’. The problem isn’t even ‘them’.
The problem is ‘us’.
By ignoring the reality of the challenges children and youth in our country are facing, we perpetuate the problem.
The solution is simple. Address the immediate and long-term needs of children in our communities and help children and youth develop healthy minds, bodies and souls. Create positive environments, attainable goals, and strong friendships. We need you to be part of this solution if it is going to work.
